The "F" Word
I'm tempted to say FINAL again, but we all know that's a bad word. ;O)
Even so, the quantity and quality of input I have received since the last time I said that has been great. Just look at the comments sections below! Now, I am either getting more confident or more deluded about the edits I am making to the script, and I owe/blame you guys!

I don't know why but when he says Zarmageddon, I had an image of cheezy pyrotechnic blasts going off like a rock concert.
Must be the Def Leppard influence.
I think it's good. I have the same reservations with the mom bit. I doubt that will change for me.
I prefer Mexico since it's small, a third world country, has beaches and nice weather.
Everything Canada isn't.
It's like he's asking for something he thinks nobody will miss but it still has lots of great (superficial) reasons for owning it.
Yeah, the Mexico/Canada line has been an ongoing internal struggle for me.

Gerald Francis mentioned some other possibilities in Guam, Iceland and Greenland. He was not a fan of dumping on Mexico as has been done quite a bit in the past already.
SIDE NOTE*** Gerald has been an avid particpant in the script discussion, sending me e-mails directly. He can't post to the blog from his work but I'll make an effort to share his future input...***
OK, my thoughts: invariably some people will be pissed off because their favorite place is getting dissed, but those people are what are known as wankers. hehehe The fact is, you can't take this non-PC line seriously because it's coming from a cartoon character who is an inept jerk anyway! I can support this theory with two words:
1.South 2.Park
What cartoon has delivered more non-PC lines? I think most Canucks actually get a kick out of it when they deliver a pot shot our way! Is appreciation for slaggin' a particular Canadian trait? I dunno.
It might be a point in favor of the Canada line... hmm?
By the way, DEF LEPPARD KICKS ASS!!!
Yeah, I think this is definitely going in the right direction. I agree with Art about the Mexico thing, though (not that Mexico is that small....). I think it will just sound better, too - "Just give me Mexico" as apposed to "Just give me Canada". Say it out load with me, you'll see ;)
I don't really take it as slagging any particular place.

I never thought of it as an insult to ask for a certain geographical location.

True, Mexico isn't that small. Maybe about the size of Ontario?
Small compared to Canada anyway.
Plus, I see the tropical location as being desirable.
It could be any place thought of as a vacation hotspot.
I am really indifferent on this point though.
The funny part is him coming back 'online' as an after thought. The location isn't all that important IMO.
I know not everyone on the team knows each other directly, but chances are you're wondering... who is that Adi chick? hehehe
Adi is a long time friend of mine from Israel who is a professional video editor, and all around straight shooter! We met 5 years ago, when we were both trying to break into the "biz".
I invited Adi's opinion on the script and now I think she's addicted.
